Sarajevo

Olympic Mountain Igman

Olympic Mountain Igman (1,510 m) is located southwest of Sarajevo, bordering the Bjelašnica range in the south and west. During the Winter Olympic Games, the Igman Mountain hosted Nordic events and ski jumping competitions.

At 17 meters in height, the Pliva waterfall is one of the most notable features of Jajce. Una national park, Bihać

National park Una is true pearl of B&H and is ideal place for all nature lovers, with amazing waterfall Strbacki Buk (24 meters). 

 

Trebević Mountain

Trebević is the closest Olympic Mountain to the Sarajevo city.As such, Trebević has been one of the favorite local outdoor spots accessible by car in only 10 minutes. During the Winter Olympics in 1984 it was venue for the bob-sledge competition.

 

Bijambare cave

Bijambare tract, encompassing 370 ha, is recently proclaimed by law as protected area of the fifth grade (“protected landscape”). It is traditionally highly valued because of its natural beauty and richness.
